Any news or rumours about the new rollercoaster for the Alton Towers Resort in 2010...

Well Alton Towers have come up with new ride cars so what about having a suspended standup like vampire and CWOA but stand up although being suspended it can't have inversions but it would be good. I came up with that idea myself but we should be able to tell in a few months...

Maybe the coaster design and type of cars being used will be a concept we have not seen before.

Got any ideas of any?

I think Secret Weapon 6 will be very well themed and the coaster will be very good but I think it will be manufactored by Intamin AG.

I know it probably won't but I hope its B&M because they are so smooth.

Do you think this is Alton Towers posting the videos? What do you think about them?

I don't know what to think of these videos. I just feel that they have been made by a theme park fan, however I may be completely wrong.

A trumpet blast, a charge into the light
From Alton Towers the hunt took flight
The Earl was confused and puzzled to why
His favorite hound was nowhere to his eye.

Upon the hunting parties return
The Earl's young child raised concern
For nowhere was he to be seen
Then suddenly an unearthly scream.

Her clothes covered in crimson smears
Her eyes alight, filled with fear
The maid cried the hound had killed the boy
With blood on it's fangs and eyes full of joy.

The frantic Earl, blinded by grief
Withdrew his blade from it's sheath
An almighty plunge of this hunting knife
Took the hound bereft of life.

The dog's dying cry awoke his son
Peacefully concealed in another room
But nearby, a slain wolf was found
The true attacker lay on the ground.

The Earl realised his dreadful error
His heart began to fill with terror
His child had been saved by the hound
Which lay displaying the fatal wound.

The poor dog's bones were laid to rest
North of the Towers in sacred ground blessed
From that day forth the Earl never smiled
His haunting mistake turning him wild.

His heart ripped and removed
The Earl's sorrow forever proved.

In a unmarked grave in Alton Towers
Lies a simple bed of flowers
In 2009 it's grave was disturbed
The Alton hound's accidental rebirth.

It says your next information pack will be released in 48 hours from this point. That was on 25th April so 48hrs from then is 27th April thats today its nearly 9 now and its not up and I think this channel is made by Alton Towers.

It is believed that many of these videos are fake, and made by a fan of the Alton Towers Resort. What do you all think?

However, 'The Hound Is Rising 2010' is certainly very well made.

I know it's a bit late but have you heard the news from Sanbrooke Production: 2 coasters in 2010, 1 in the black hole tent.

I am not sure what to believe, but it would be nice to have two new coasters next year.

I don't think two coasters in the same year is very likely. At the moment I must say I'm not very convinced but you can always hope. Surely plans would have already been submitted for the other new coaster in the black hole tent if it was going ahead?

I was right. SW6 is going to be manufactored by Intamin and the coaster type will be a custom design Mega Lite Coaster.

There is also a rumour that it may be called 'Surrender' after the recent posters that have started appearing around the park.

Yeah I have seen quite alot of them. Do you think the skyrider station will be rethemed as SW6 too?
